Guerrero's Juice Bar, located in Yonkers at 434 South Broadway, has opened a new location just across the street at 435 South Broadway, which held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

The new location, named Guerrero's Juice Bar II, specializes in fresh juices and desserts, compared to the original restaurant, which serves Mexican-inspired cuisine such as birria tacos, quesadillas, and enchiladas.

Some of the delicious juices offered by the new expansion include the "Back to Life" smoothie, featuring celery, cucumber, pineapple, and green apple; the "Baby Shark" drink, featuring mango, pineapple, blueberry, water, and sugar; and the "Vampire" drink, which includes carrot, beet, and orange.

The juice bar also serves bubble tea, milkshakes, and even desserts such as Nutella, banana, and strawberry crepes.

Both Guerrero's Juice Bar locations are owned by Margareta Guerrero, who opened the first location in Yonkers in 2001 and decided to expand to a second location "after hard work, sacrifice, and support of her family," Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano said.

The decision has paid off, as several visitors have already raved about the juice bar on Yelp.

"I literally JUST found this little neighborhood gem by chance during a walk/run with my daughter the other day," wrote Amanda G. of Manhattan, who also added, "The prices are reasonable and I'll definitely be making this a stop during my warm weather walk with the little one."

Ridalby A. of Mount Vernon also said he had good experiences at the location.

"Just moved in the area and have been coming here a couple times for a refreshing green juice," he wrote, adding, "Would definitely recommend it!"
